Mindmapping Can Help Everyone

On October 14, 2008 I posted the following: “Vic Gee, author of the Mind-Mapping.org Blog, has put forth a very interesting proposition to those interested in mindmapping: Give him your thoughts on how to expand the use of mindmapping and if you’re creative enough you could win a free license of Buzan’s iMindMap software.  All you have to do is write a post or provide a mindmap on his blog no later than November 3, 2008.”

Today is November 3, 2008 and Vic Gee has decided to extend the competition until December 3, 2008.  So by all means make an entry before the December deadline.

Here’s my contribution to the competition:

There are two major ways I think mindmaps can help everyone:
  1. They help you capture information visually via relationships, colors, and graphics.
  2. They help you transform the way you manage information.
I think the more people who understand the usefulness of mindmaps to capture, organize and manage information – the more people will use mindmaps.
