Mindjet Catalyst: Redefining Online Business Collaboration
Mindjet, an industry leading mindmapping software company, has created what might possibly redefine online business collaboration. They’ve created an online collaboration tool called Mindjet Catalyst.
This is how they describe it:
“Mindjet Catalyst is a simple yet powerful collaboration solution that combines a best-in-class visual productivity application (mind mapping), secure online workspaces, and optional web conferencing. With Mindjet Catalyst, teams can visually connect ideas, information and people to save time, improve business processes and drive innovation – whether you are driving the sales process, managing a meeting, conducting a meeting, or simply getting organized.”
After using it for myself, I would actually agree with most of that description. It is revolutionary. Perhaps the biggest selling point is the ability to engage others in the use of mindmaps to get things done. For those who understand the benefits of mindmapping, this is a “no brainer”. But for those unfamiliar with mindmapping, it’s a revelation. All of sudden people who knew nothing (or very little) about mindmapping are seeing the benefits of working on projects visually.
Mindjet describes the Catalyst environment this way:
“Delivered as a subscription-based service, Mindjet Catalyst provides a unified work environment that marries critical workgroup capabilities in a single easy to use interface, and provides:
- The sophistication of Mindjet’s visual “mind mapping” to illustrate ideas and add meaningful context
- The flexibility of map co-editing in real-time
- The immediacy of online chat and optional web conferencing
- The reliability of secure workspaces to store maps and related documents in a central location
- The viral reach of sharing maps with your network – through email, blogs, and social networking sites
- The freedom from software downloads, installations, upgrades or updates
- The confidence of full technical and product support from Mindjet experts”
If you are interested in a new and powerful way to collaborate with your team, you should give Mindjet Catalyst a try.

Awesome, I was looking for something along the lines of this. I was thinking, do you think newsletters are still an good way of marketing online? Does anybody still use them well and actually acquire readers?
Appreciate the help!
